Safety Alerts
|
The Bureau has a general duty under Law No (2) of 1998 to ensure the availability of health and safety guidance in relation to water and electricity supply to the public. One of the tools adopted to enable communication of such health and safety information is safety alerts.
Safety alerts are sent directly to licensees for communication to their employees and contractors. The alerts describe hazardous situations associated with the power and water sector and often recommend steps to reduce or eliminate the degree of hazard.
To date, the following Safety Alerts have been issued:

Hitachi Alert - October 2005
Switching Alert - November 2005
Fuel Gas Filter - October 2007
